NHS Hub Warrington

Final Project Value: £295,000

Project length: 6 months

This project was an existing building that was changing its end use. Our brief was to supply labour, plant, and materials for the installation of 1 hour fire-rated stud partition walls, suspended ceilings and dry-lining to blockwork walls.

We installed the partition walls following the British Gypsum specification and manufacturers instructions.

Working with the main contractor and client to achieve cost-effective options for the suspended ceilings, we ensured they were compliant with the end uses of the rooms where they were being installed. We delivered an effective install within the programme requirements, including delivery of materials, first fix, second fix installation and rectification following M&E trades.

Whilst on this project we were asked to carry out extensive additional works throughout the site, which included:

Ø Steel beam and column encasement

Ø Strip-out works

Ø Removal of skylights and timber infill of area

Ø Builders works in connection

Ø Drainage works

Ø Plastering

Ø Joinery including installation of fire doors with certification

Our initial order value was circa £91,000 but working alongside the main contractor and client we were able to extend the order value to circa £290,000 building a good relationship for future projects.

The project was located within a high street in Warrington, and we planned deliveries to minimise inconvenience to the public and ensure the highest health and safety standards throughout.
